It’s 6:30 in the morning, I’ve gotten like zero sleep in the past 48 hours, and am going to try my best to stay awake for the next couple at least. Because A. I love flying and don’t want my window seat to go to waste, and B. I just paid a decent fee for airport/in-flight internet that I also don’t want to waste.

The plan before showing up at the airport was to do one last “I’m on my way back to Washington, lulz” entry, as I’ve done so many times in the past. Yet because I’ll actually have a computer and (if things go according to plan) internet back home, it’s somewhat pointless.

Though I mostly just wanted to pass along my fave GameSetWatch posts from the past two weeks; the original idea to publish a Child of Eden review was scraped over the weekend for a variety of reasons. Like how I totally suck at it; I never have enough of those stupid glowy things to advance. Was hoping to beat the game before passing judgment, but to be honest, that might not be totally necessary.

But since I’m so busy prepping posts for the next couple of days (and am way behind unfortunately), I’ll instead pass along something that just went up on Guyism; dude comes home drunk around 2 in the morning, catches his mom playing Zelda: Link To The Past, decides to tell the internet…

… and naturally, hilarity ensues!

All right, back to work.

Last night saw the return of my pal Heather on the UCB NYC stage; it’s been almost a year (actually, it was a year and two weeks ago) since she and the rest of her crew was in the Big Apple.

Unfortunately, about half the team was absent, due to various commitments back in LA. Yet the close to midnight edition of The Midnight Show still managed lived up to last year’s insanely awesome performance, even surpassing it!

There were SO many highlights that it’s impossible to choose one, though Heather as a totally horny and goony high school student with an actual chicken wing in her hair is definitely up there. Though I believe what caused myself, Dave, and Peter to truly lose our minds was Herrrmerrn’s School of French Kissing for Dogs?

? Seriously, why The Midnight Show isn’t on Comedy Central or some other network right now is a crying shame (and another sad testament of how piss poor televised comedy is these days).

Anyhow, she has another performance slated for tonight, as part of the 13th annual Del Close Marathon. I am once again reminded of how pitiful it is that, after being such a UCB regular for over a decade and living in (relative) close approximation to the theater, that I’ve yet to attend.

Even though I’m going to be busy all weekend, getting ready for my trip back home, will try my best to catch her 11pm thing. Also, Improvised Anime at 4:30am sounds just about right as well.

Guess I should also mention how, last night after the show, while grabbing drinks with Heather, I told Peter all about Canzo Empyrean. Not surprisingly, he found all that I had to say quite compelling. Best part was Dave simply going “No, everything he’s saying is true.”

Pete’s seen the trailer by now, and perhaps he’ll help spread the word. And maybe then he’ll get contact by Lucien perhaps?

I know it’s been a while, but I’m ready to take the next step. I think it’s time.

Awaiting instructions. Patiently, as always.
