In just three hours, the PlayStation 4 will be unveiled. And with it, we shall finally gaze into the face of gaming’s future. So what better time is there than the present, to look back at gaming’s past? And what better tour guide could there be than The BasedGod, aka Lil B?

Surely everyone reading this is familiar with the underground rap sensation. If not, has your internet been down since 2010? At any rate, he’s back with part three of his game collection, which is overflowing with ”classics” (here’s parts one and two for those out of the loop).

There’s so much to love about the video above. Like how he tells the other video games out there who have not been represented (and are therefore angry or depressed) to chill, cuz he has a long ways to go.

Also, note to self: when showing off my PS3 collection, it’s a good idea to break things up with the odd Sega CD or Saturn title. Plus I don’t know about the rest of you, but I can now enjoy a better night’s sleep, knowing that Lil B not only owns Nier but has also beaten it.

Another must watch, especially those who are unfamiliar with his music, is his ode to video games. The dude simply loves ‘em! Thanks for the head’s up Joe.
