MK's brother went down there to help a friend move and all of sudden this major storm happens. Made us feel pretty bad for missing his calls while we were enjoying ourselves at the beach over the weekend. As for the J train, yeah it does suck. But luck on the bright-side... at least you guys don't live near the G train, aka the rape train (and those familiar with the train already knows that I'm not exactly joking here). Yeah, what happened (well happening) down south is pretty sad. MK’s brother went down there to help a friend move and all of sudden this major storm happens. I know somebody who lives in Queens and was also late, so I guess the fire you speak of can be attributed to that. It goes without saying that I'm sorry to hear about the fire in your neighborhood and I hope nobody was hurt. Though regarding the problems over in Brooklyn, and the subway system as a whole, I am particularly bothered by the lack of communication between the MTA and its riders. They need to do a better job letting folks know what is going on, and this ranges from having sufficient info when it comes to service changes, to unexpected delays and their causes. If people know what is going on, they will be far more forgiving. Keep them in the dark and then you're asking for trouble.
