Hey there, it was good to run into you on Friday... but anyways, there are actually quite a number of good Mexican restaurants on LI believe it or not :P They are all in Nassau though for some reason. If you're ever in the Ronkonkoma area again and need a good place to eat, I could help you out, I'm one town over from there actually.

You definitely should do something like what they had at Otakon for the anime dance party... they actually got real, local DJs to play, and a lot of them spun pretty good music. I was expecting it to be a bunch of cosplayers standing around not doing anything while a bunch of dance remixes of anime theme songs and J-pop songs were being played, but the DJs were playing everything from soulful house to Baltimore-style breaks, to electro-house and progressive... and the people were actually really into it. A cute girl even asked me to dance :)

Actually, I did say the original NiGHTS games, the one that appeared on the Saturn. The upcoming Wii title is the sequel. And... at this point, I'm looking towards the upcoming PS2 installment.

The issue I have with your Wii Sports bowling technique, is your release point. You tend to let go of the ball at the last second causing it to fly out into the lane about 1/3 of the way and the ball drops and slides ahead straight as an arrow. No spin or any influence from the throw whatsoever. The only challenge that remains is to line up at or near center and plow through the pins for a strike.

OK. In real bowling some people release late. Fine. But the spirit of bowling is lost in the Wii version, I feel, if you do this. For me the fun is in replicating a fine bowling approach and release. Fortunately for us the Wii Sports bowling game simulates a bowling approach, release and the ensuing spin of the ball quite faithfully.
