"If this work, expect a copy of Resurrection of the Little Match Girl. But you?ve already seen that, haven?t you?"

Nope, I don't think I've even heard of it...

Pixar should totally do a Sam & Max movie. Some of their humor might go over the very little ones' heads, but at least The Incredibles proved that a Pixar movie doesn't always have to be about talking toys, bugs, monsters or fish... even though this would be a talking dog and rabbity-thing.

So Sam & Max lives? Awesome...

Though I've been hoping that Pixar might do something with the characters as well. They still might, just not as a game of course.

Oh, and thanks for the info Brian. I'll give them all a try later this weekend. If this work, expect a copy of Resurrection of the Little Match Girl. But you've already seen that, haven't you?

Other news from Telltale games, regarding Sam & Max:

Adventuregamers reports:

The deal was inked only days ago, and few details are available as of now. Telltale stresses that the game will not be Sam & Max: Freelance Police, the LucasArts title whose highly-publicized 2004 cancellation was widely mourned by fans. New content will be developed, and the game will be implemented in an episodic format similar to that of Telltale's Bone games. Purcell, who works at Pixar, says he will be as involved with the Sam & Max project as he can be.

DVD stuff on Mac:

DVDBackup: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18599

DVDBackup is a pretty simple ripping app that you can probably figure out in two seconds. It will create a VIDEO_TS folder that you will need to bring into...

DVD2OneX: http://www.dvd2one.com/download.php?PHPSESSID=bd1f3deade5d1df9d970d2aa4dafe056

This program is really handy, because you can burn DVD9s to DVD5s with some tinkering. You can choose to do full disk copies, or movie-only copies, which is quite helpful. If your movie is too big for a DVD5, do a movie-only copy and junk all the assets you don't need. Example: if there are alternate audio tracks you don't need, you can choose not to copy them over in the Selections drawer. Choose Variable under Ratio for the best video quality results.

Good luck. You might need the full version of DVD2OneX to do some of this stuff, but I'm not sure what the limitations are of the demo... Contact me if you need the full.
