Ouch! To paraphrase Fozzie, "Twenty dollars and you don't even get a schedule?" Admittedly most events I've gone to are that price or more, but you get a variety of programming, in parallel, program book, and schedule of events not on the tradeshow/dealers floor (though sometimes the schedule is in the program book), and a tradeshow or dealers floor that alive and kicking for its full hours.

Wow, sorry you had such a bad time at the con. Steve mentioned you called him in LA to vent about the experience. Steve and I went to Cybercon the last two years, when it was held at small hotel in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Maybe because of its location, we didn't have real high expectations, and therefore we're not too disappointed. It was a lot like that Classic Gaming Con the three of us went to in PA.
Still, they did have some decent vendors when we went. Palisades was even there with some of the new and future release Statues.
Maybe since it was moved to NYC this year, some of the regular vendors could not afford to attend.
Maybe after the movie is released, future cons will improve.
Toodles.

so where's this rocketship place? the signage looks familiar (i live in the area) but the site doesn't actually list an address. which is not a good sign, but i've been halfheartedly looking for a copy of v for vendetta to make my wife read before she hits her phd up anew and local is always nice.
