I didn't see it myself, and am still not totally sure of what happened, but apparently some teenagers were going all over the LES, either in a vehicle or perhaps just bikes, throwing fruit at people(?). Someone at the gallery decided to throw some back, I think, and then one of the kids retaliated by throwing a bottle instead, which smashed a windshield.. again I think. I was there when the cops came back to drop off this girl who was a witness and gave her account. It was this chick from Philly who created a cartoon called Wiccan Chicken. Really nice person! I knew I forgot some important details in my write-up, drat. Yeah.
