That's actually common... getting motion sickness while watching someone else play a game, generally a third person shooter. I can deal with a FPS for at least a few minutes if I'm playing it... but if I'm watching, forget about it.

But again, that mostly happens with shooters, so F-Zero makes little sense. Then again, I once got sick while playing We Love Katamari, and by that point, I had played both parts 1 and 2 quite extensively. I also recalling getting sick the first time I played Ecco on the Genesis.

I concur with your opinion of Mario Sunshine. Actually, I disagree on one point: I don't even think the camera is *that* bad or annoying. There are some areas and moments where it is retarded, but the rest of the time it never does anything that can't be corrected with a quick tap on the C-stick. The game does a lot better job at actually *letting you* control the camera than many others; I'm less annoyed by it than I was by some other games that do a good-not-great job of automatically positioning it but will actively fight your efforts to move the camera on your own (Prince of Persia: Sands of Time comes to mind).

The only game in the last several years that has given me a hint of motion sickness was F-Zero GX... and even then, it only happened when I watched someone else play; I was alright if I was in control. Odd.

Joe, you sometimes act like my editor when it comes to this site. Which I think is pretty funny actually.

And yeah, I had a blast Saturday night. Good thing I decided to stick around after that hot dog. Also, thanks to you, I'm gonna be MySpace buddies with Kenny!
