Jill: Well the date for SPX clashes with John & Marion's wedding date, which they tried really hard to avoid, and when trying to set it, they asked and asked and asked, but the SPX folks never responded. So when they finally chose one, it was super late in October, a time which the show traditionally has never taken. And wouldn't you know...

As for Dave, he officially hasn't said anything, but considering he's the best man...

ShaperMC: To be honest, I don't have much of an opinion with the whole video game vs. videogame thing. If there's any specific discussions I should maybe check out, please pass them along.

Though in regards to my class, it's a bit too advanced for my book. It is an introduction to the subject matter, after-all. Last night was my first class of the summer session, and as always, I really take for granted that most folks, even those who profess to live and breathe games, really don't know too much of the basic stuff, like its history.

Nice title! Personally I like the secondary title better.

Aside; did you go over the whole Video Game vs Videogame thing? I did that for the magazine a few months back and it was pretty interesting. The research that one of my editors did for the argument on both sides of things (as well as Andrew's "Show Me Something Gorgeous" article) put me to using Videogames.

Anyways... I kinda like that bottom left hair style. I know, sue me. But when I saw that hair style it was before the emo/hipster scene was a scene, so I get grandfather-claused into it being acceptable.

When you say Dave and John won't be at SPX, do you mean Roman and Green?

I'm planning on going to SPX with Liz, and I'll be totally bummed if my first time at SPX is the one they're not at. :(

I'd go with "Paving The Pixel Road - The Art & Science of Video Game Design", because the other has too many words before you get to "Video Game".

No, I haven't had a chance to see any of the Gotham Girls in action, but I want to now, more than ever.

So you have a friend who's on the Queens of Pain? Nice. I sorta know their team captain, Suzy Hotrod, who's good friends of Joe (and I used to see her play when she was in the band Lady Unluck. According to Callie, the girl I know in the Philthy Britches, Suzy and the Gotham Girls were pivotal in getting the Philly Rollergirls mobilized.

Did you seem the Gotham Girls Roller Derby?? I have a friend who just joined the Queens of Pain, and I was soooo bummed it sold out.

I didn't realize you're doing a book, neato! I think "Paving the Pixel Road: the art & science of video game design" is more concise, although I'm sure it doesn't matter what I say as I am no editor.

I like that book title.

I also like "Yeah, I Can't Believe It Either" for the comic title. It's catchy.
