Ha!

Yeah, Space Raiders was indeed found in the el-cheapo cardboard box display at the Union Square Circuit City.

And yes, I once mentioned that I almost got the game while back in Washington when I found a copy at a Gamestop, but since it was gutted I refused to pay full price. Granted it was only $10 or so, but it was a matter of principle.

Space Raiders.

Honest to fucking god...
I was at circuit city in union square.... just a few days ago...
i saw it there... on the "other side" of the game aisle... in the bargain bin multi-tier cardboard box....

picked it up...
looked at the 15 dollar price tag....
thought about it...
then thought... maybe its cheaper if i scan it in...
then thought...
meh...
i gotta catch a bus...

then i thought
(honest to god true story)
i thought... i swear i remember Matt hawkins mention he was looking for it in his blog.... (did you?)
then i thought....
maybe i'll tell him... its not like anyone else is gonna buy it if i leave it here. the game got a 2.9 on gamespot. Bill Scwartz, the CEO of its publisher, mastiff, laughed at me one time on the phone when i was getting games for GNG... right before he sent me 20 LaPucelles. I asked him if he'd want to get space raiders to the event and he laughed and he said it was best no one really focus on that anymore.

sure enough.
i forgot to tell you it was there...
but then again... sure enough.
there you have it.
lol. freakin weird.
