Hey matt… just reading ths part and pillowking mentioned Rez… which made me think of something. George K and his endless supply of money has been playing Elektroplankton to no end… and i recommended he try Otocky in response to his fascination with Mr. Iwai.

Since he had no idea what i was talking about… and he’s such a HUGE Rez geek (the game basically IS an 8-bit Rez of sorts)… i was curious if you were any more versed in it than he or I are. Do you know anyone with an old copy? SOOO hard to find Famicom Disk System games anywhere.

You know, as “relieved” as I was in a weird way when the insert credit forum was killed, since it gave me one less gaming forum to waste my life away on, I really do miss the vibe there. Hence why I’m always so happy to hear from someone from the good ‘ol days!

And many thanks for the very complimentary words. You know, there are times when doing the blog feels more work than fun, but whenever I hear someone say that they like it, sorta makes it all worth it in the end.

Sorry to get all sappy there. I found a totally awesome site show pics of people actually eating real human babies that I’ll pass along next time to regain my “edge”.

Yo, pillowking here from IC, Just watched Rubber Johnny (torrented the DVD) and damn was that insane- just about had the same reaction of not blinking- watched it about 3 more times- editting is crazy, and the short is close to perfection for Aphex and Chris C- can’t wait for more releases to come forth of later work. But totally inspired (go to school for video production).

By the way just wanted to say that out of all the blog’s out there (which many I depise- unless you believe livejournals and blogs are seperate) but this is one of the most inspirational, influenced, informative blog I’ve read and will continue to do so. For one that shares the same feelings towards Rez as I feel- and your insight on game dev. and art- you kick ass man.
