And once again, Burp Castle would be a lot cooler if it actually had a legit monk to tell everyone to shut it. Then again, the overall concept, a bar where you can&#039;t talk, just seems ridiculous, especially to a loudmouth like myself.</description>

ok here&#039;s the deal

a) don&#039;t overmix, even or especially when using mix. it should be somewhat lumpy.

b) your pan must be hot; medium high heat to start with for sure! you may have to back it down as you go on, but that shit should be cooked really fuckin&#039; fast. if you have a nonstick pan, you may notice butter helps; on a cast iron/griddle/non-nonstick environment, you&#039;re going to need some kind of grease to prevent stickage and destruction.

so by not overmixing, i mean you only stir it enough to keep it together. add water very slowly. the more water, the more crepe-like your finished pancakes will be.

when cooking, you wait until you start seeing bubbles on the surface of the cake - once it looks like there&#039;s more than a few, flip it. once you figure out what the timing is for your pan/heat/mix, you&#039;ll avoid overbrowning.

also, burp castle is fuckin&#039; great! i love the shushing!</description>
