I'm really sorry to tell you this, but the chiptunes world tour from this past summer played in San Fran and in LA...

As for the Advantage, at least they choose selections from games that are relatively obscure and that you haven't already heard a million times before. Sorry, but I can really do without hearing yet another guitar rendition of the Contra infiltration them, no matter how rocking it might be.

Regarding the Minibosses, they?re okay I guess. They are good musicians I?ll give them that, and even the Advantage weren?t so bad when I saw them a whiles back (though they were a bit flaccid, though my biggest beef was with the crowd, as well as the people who go so ga-ga over such stuff to begin with). I love video game music, obviously, but as much as I enjoy a good cover, a band that does nothing but them is ultimately pretty boring to me, regardless if its Mega Man tunes or Rolling Stones.

I also find annoying how anyone who can play the chords to the Zelda theme is the hit at any party, but I imagine that was the case twenty or so years back with Zepplin. Hence why I enjoy the chiptunes scene so much; it?s the same basic vibe from yesteryears, but re-imagined and something new.

After seeing Jackass2 tonight, there's only one thing I can think of when reading the phrase "beer ass".

Also I wish there'd be some chiptune-age over here! The Minibosses were awesome a couple months ago, and the Advantage just rolled through last weekend (rather crappy unlike the minibosses who rocked the fuck out). But I need me some chiptune resistance! (don't tell me it actually passed through CA and I didn't know)

I don't know why Portable Ops looks so good to me... I guess because it somewhat resembles the first Metal Gear Solid. Sorta stripped down, back to basics.

So in that sense, I do enjoy the mechanics, at least when it was a bit easier... things have gotten considerably more complicated, which has made for better games, but ones that I have a harder time with. I still haven't been able to beat Snake Eater, let alone Sons of Liberty.

But the story also looks very appealing to me. Though the fact that Kojima is probablyu not that involved does make me wonder about the end product. I also hear the controls are bad.

Then again, as big of a Metal Gear fan I may claim to be, I still could care less about Ac!d. Then again, I just don't do video card games.

I hope that I help you out here, but seriously, MG PortOp is not going to be good. I mean, unless you like just the mechanics of Metal Gear games. Seriously, while Ac!d was a neat idea, and not terrible to play, the sub-par fan-fic-esque quality of it ruins it. I mean, it's like watching someone try to be Kojima.

I don't really think that I'm a fan of Metal Gear as much as I am of Kojima, and I just say this recently since I played Ac!d.

Please don't want a PSP.

God, you really do need an editor.
1.) It was Pretty in Pink, I've already got Desperately Seeking Susan.
2.) That's not how you spell my name. 2 years and you've never once typed it right! I expect that sort of shabby treatment from the government or credit card companies my college sold my address to. Damn your Korean upbringing! There is no hyphen!
