Job: iGames is happening again? Shit... so many things going on this month. Once again, I'll be away this weekend, this time for a wedding, but I should be able to stop by tomorrow after work for a bit.

phooky: Yeah, once the weather gets a bit more tolerable, which its starting to. I just don't want to bake in the sun from standing in line for 40 minutes, even if its for a supposedly supremo hot dog.

freaking insane.

Anyway, are you coming out to the iGames Expo this weekend?

They've changed it to a free event....

So feel free to wander up to manhattan center on 34th st thursday-saturday.

We'll have a small non-GNG GNG booth pimping GitS for PSP, as well as premiering IGPX on friday with a performance from Blockhead from the Ninjatunes label.

i'll have a GitS SAC sountrack waiting for you if you make it!

Plus you can get your hands on a build of the "handheld wifi version" of GitS:SAC for whatever reason you may need to....

Believe it or not Job, the confrontation between Moe and myself also happened while I was working A/V during an open house event in the main building! What a coincidence...

Thank God Moe didn't brandish a weapon when going after me, but he was so livid that I was expecting the guy to throw a punch or something. He probably would have, but Sammy, who ran the main building cafeteria (at least I think that was his name), broke things up.

I just told my roommate Stephy, an SVA alumni, of the "Return of Moe" and while she's the type who never has a bad thing to say about anybody, and can see the good in everyone, also shares a deep hatred for the guy, stemming from the fact that she couldn't get a single cup of tea or bagel without some creepy one-liner or something for a solid 4 years.

So yeah... there are folks out there that dislike Moe... hey we should start a club! At the very least, make t-shirts.

This is seriously fucked up.

You and I share the same vendetta against Moe.

I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE!

Back when i worked for A/V, we were setting up the amphitheater in the main building for open house.
Before the event, we were told to grab a drink and bagel and what not before all the parents arrived.

So, I go the the cafeteria 5 minutes later than the rest of my A/V bretheren, and proceed to grab a bagel that I was told to take, just like all the rest of the workers had before the parents got there.

Since SVA paid the cafeteria guys in E23 to cater to open house, the (now former) head food service guy ordered Moe over from W21 to help out. As I was grabbing the bagel, Moe, I SWEAR TO GOD, CAME RUNNING FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER WITH A KITCHEN KNIFE IN HIS HAND AND GRABBED THE BAGEL BACK FROM ME!

He started yapping something i couldnt understand then said that these were for the parents, not students!

I told him clearly, CHILL OUT! I WAS TOLD BY MY BOSS TO GRAB ONE BECAUSE I'M WORKING THIS OPEN HOUSE!

He said, he didn't care and that I should leave, and continued to waiver the knife at me.
I told him to calm down and, "NOT BE SUCH A JERK!"

He proceeded to yell at the top of his lungs, WHAT!?! YOU CALL ME A JERK? You call me a JERK!!?!?!?! YOU!!!!
(this is as he is still waving the knife at me, WITH ALL THE MOTHERFUCKING PARENTS FILLING THE CAFETERIA NOW!)

I then stepped away, frightened, and walked away.
I told the master of all things greasy Chris Bodor about it and he of course was too spaced out to do a damn thing.

But ever since that day, he's been on my shit list of people I fear will one day kill me.

I thought I was th only one who hated this guy.
(also strange i'm getting a deja vu telling you about this, have you mentioned it on here before?)

Moe! Wow! This cart story reminds me of "The Pushcart War" a book I read in elementary school while eating those cafeteria burgers. I always liked Moe. He cut me slack when I was short a dime or two and never hit on me. I may have been too old :)
