Real quick, cuz I’m just about to head out the door and head out to Syracuse for the weekend…
My latest GameSetWatch piece was published late last night (less than thirty minutes before the clock struck midnight, which means I technically was still on schedule!) and it’s another horror flick where the evil something from a video game crosses over and starts hacking and slashing for real, but this time, it’s actually very good!
Special thanks to Robin once again since he was the guy who alerted me to the film’s existence, and even passed along a copy. Oh, and the consensus thus far is that… I should really review Brainscan sometime soon. You know, that shitty horror flick starring a wannabe Freddy Krueger that’s also a game character and Eddie Furlong? I’ll get to it. Eventually.
Oh, so last night I chatted a bit with Simon online, and Dave (Mauro) pinged me that I had to check out the IC forums. And the thing is, I try to avoid instant messaging in the evening (though I had to speak with Simon over something sorta important) as well as surf message boards at night if I can help it (I try to keep that stuff during business hours). But he told me that I had check something out, which was just for me specifically, so I went and looked….

Also, right before logging off, I ended up getting another IM from someone whom I didn’t know (at least initially, but later discovered it was another ICer, one whom I’ve met before) and it was about furries, lol (the new design for Fox McCloud in Super Smash Bros for the Wii to be precise). When I told Katie this, who was also online, she went “YOUR LIFE RULES”.
One last thing before I jet: MK just started a new blog for those who wish to get into the art of making comics, but is somewhat overwhelmed by all the technical aspects when it comes to choosing tools. its aptly called Comic Tools and is sure to be a invaluable recourse for many folks out there.
